Off the beaten path is where Amy loves spending time. As a PCP in Fernie BC, Amy enjoys the challenges and opportunities of living in a rural mountain town. A PCP with the BC Ambulance service since 2000, Amy also enjoys volunteering with the Canadian Ski Patrol System as a zone VP Education, advanced first aid instructor and instructor trainer. Passionate about expanding medical knowledge and exploring the backcountry, Amy teaches and examines first aid as well as EMR and PCP programs at the local College. Amy loves hiking, ski touring, and sea kayaking and has worked as a white water raft expedition guide, a rock climbing instructor and dogsled guide. Amy is co-owner of Adventure Source Tours; a guiding company that offers dogsledding, skijoring, and snowshoeing tours.
