Tomas is an Emergency Nurse and EMT working in the ER of the Icelandic University Hospital. He is also mountaineering and avalanche instructor at FAS, Icelandic mountaineering school. He did his glacier and mountain guide training through the AIMG and has been guiding since 2014. Tomas has been member of the Icelandic Association of Search and Rescu (ICE-SAR) since 2011, currently working there as the lead instructor for Trekking and Navigation.
