Danny has worked full time in the outdoor industry as an expedition leader, river guide, skills instructor, and outdoor educator since 2002. He has guided whitewater trips in Canada, the USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Chile. He currently splits his field time between teaching rescue courses with Boreal River Rescue, leading multi-day whitewater trips on Quebec’s remote Magpie River, and playing in the wilderness around his home and further afield. He lives in the Gatineau River Valley with his wife and son. Danny has been a Wilderness-EMT since 1998 and started teaching with WMA in 2009. His favourite things about instructing with WMA are getting to meet people with a variety of talents and experiences and watching students gain confidence as first responders.
