Growing up in Ontario, I spent my summers at camp in Algonquin Park. I learned what being outside could do for my mental health, and I’ve made it a priority in my life to help others get outside. I love the problem-solving and critical thinking involved in wilderness medicine, and I’m excited to share that knowledge and enthusiasm with students in these courses. During my summers, I guide expeditions on the wild rivers of Northern Canada and Alaska. I teach Avalanche Skills Courses on the West Coast in the winter and try to ski as much as possible.
