Lotus (Furong) Wang

Lotus (Furong Wang) has a background in adult higher education and nontraditional healing. She feels strongly, after having grown up in rural southwestern China in resource restricted environments, that the practical medicine taught by WMA is of high value to those who live, work and play in remote, resource restrained environments. Her professional pathway has led her to integrating Chinese Medicine with Western Biomedicine as well as future research to synergize the two fields to optimize patient outcomes. She lives in Maine where she raises chickens, ducks, and geese with her husband and forages for wild mushrooms in addition to tending her gardens.
