Robin started her career as a geologist and ended up with a Master’s degree in the field of Disaster Science. She has been a Wilderness EMT for over 20 years. Her experience includes working on ambulances in rural and urban Maine, running a rescue squad for a college campus, ski patrolling, working as a risk manager for a study abroad program, and responding with local search and rescue disaster response organizations. She currently lives in the mountains of western Maine with a collection of rescued critters.
