Josh has been involved in wilderness search and rescue for over 20-years. He has been an instructor for more than 15 years teaching search & rescue as well as technical rope rescue. Josh has worked professionally in level-1 trauma centers, EMS, ski patrol, National Park Service as well as 9-years in the US Air Force. Currently, Josh works as a ranger as well as medical coordinator for the Mohonk Preserve in the Hudson River Valley of New York. There, he and his fellow rangers provide search & rescue services to visitors on the Shawangunk Ridge which includes the Gunks climbing area.
