Jon Fredrickson

Jon has lived in varied environs, from remote upper peninsula (Michigan) to highly populated Kobe, Japan. After many years of helping people mentally, physically, spiritually, and educationally he decided to pursue a career shift into medicine. His WFR exposure gave him confidence to attempt this bold new move to become a paramedic. WMA offered an opportunity to combine teaching, medicine, and wilderness so he completed his IT in 2024.
Jon loves to scuba dive whenever he has a chance. He is an avid fisherman and living on Lake Huron affords him much opportunity for this. His other pastimes include, hiking, biking, paddling, skiing (water, downhill, and cross country), and just about anything outdoors
