Stephen Halvorson

Steve had his dessert early. In the 10+ year interval between college and medical school, he pursued interests in outdoor guiding and skills instruction, youth development and travel. Boarded in family medicine, he works in emergency departments around Montana. When not at work, he is active in the alpine terrain of the Northern Rockies or enjoying the south-facing deck of his home in Bozeman. After having volunteered in 2007 for the HRA in Pheriche, Nepal, he returned to the Khumbu region to work at the Everest ER in the spring of 2010.
