Mia Perez

Born and raised in southern Maine, Mia grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Her professional journey began at Three Rivers Whitewater, where she gained hands-on experience in marketing and social media management. It was there that she also discovered a passion for whitewater and became a raft guide on the Kennebec River.

Today, Mia lives and works from a self-converted school bus turned motorhome, traveling the country with her partner, Carter, and their adventurous dog and cat. When she’s not working, you can find her hiking, sewing, paddle boarding, or simply soaking up the outdoors wherever the road takes them.

Mia brings her love for wilderness and storytelling together to help share Wilderness Medical Associates’ mission with a wider audience.
