María Gústavsdóttir

María is a registered nurse with experience in both primary- and emergency care nursing. She currently works at the ER at Iceland’s Landspitali University Hospital, where she manages patient care ranging from wound treatment to acute illness or trauma. In addition, María is an active member of the Icelandic search and rescue (ICE-SAR) where she focuses on teaching first aid and training with a specialised disaster response team.
