Amelin Mommsen

Amelin grew up surrounded by the beautiful Tetons which kickstarted her love for outdoor recreation! Now she spends winters patrolling and summers raft guiding, commercial fishing, hiking, backpacking and overall enjoying the outdoors. After her first year patrolling she realized her passion for emergency medicine and has since been growing in that field including teaching. During middle and high school she taught students in the special education classroom as well as at Special Olympics and this background helps her foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom. When not teaching or working you can find her goofing off either on the slopes or trails enjoying all the outdoors have to offer!
