While attending Lakehead University for his honours in Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism Dugg began his Paramedic training. After spending several years constructing and facilitating high and low ropes courses, guiding climbing and canoeing expeditions and instructing outdoor skills Dugg transferred full-time to EMS. He now works with Ontario’s helicopter-based air ambulance as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic and is a member of a provincial emergency medical containment and treatment team. Dugg is also the coordinator and supervisor of Fanshawe College’s Paramedic program. Although he spends a fair amount of his time working on his masters in adult education Dugg keeps himself grounded by organizing adventure sport medical coverage, distance running, paddling and yoga (yes, yoga). He feels it is important to convey that he enjoys long paddles along the beach however he doesn’t like brussel sprouts at all.
