Erin Petit

Erin is a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Forest Ranger and covers Oswego County. Erin started off her college career at SUNY ESF as a pre-med major, but soon realized her passion was a career in the outdoors. As a Forest Ranger she has the best of both worlds and can continue her education and use of wilderness medicine through search and rescue incidents, while also protecting the state’s natural resources. Erin also obtained her EMT certification in July 2023. When Erin isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family skiing, hiking, hunting, boating and camping.
