Jim Coffey

I am a career adventure travel guide and trainer. My specialty along with Wilderness Medical training is leading and training whitewater expeditions and guides worldwide.

I have my summer base in “the Pontiac” in western Quebec on the shores of the Ottawa River and my winters are based in the mountains of Jalcomulco, Veracruz, Mexico. I enjoy teaching in both English and Spanish.

I am fortunate to have made a lifelong career in the adventure tourism industry (in over 50 countries) and look forward to training more people to travel more securely.

I once came in last place in the Arctic Games “Duck Plucking” competition.
