Critical Care Paramedic, WFR, BLS, EP/ALS

Jiri is a Critical Care Paramedic with frontline experience since 2011. He has served in prehospital EMS, critical care transport, and emergency medical dispatch, and spent ten years in a university hospital’s adult emergency department. This broad scope gives him a full-spectrum view of emergency care and a calm, priority-driven approach when seconds count. An instructor since 2013, he teaches first aid and advanced resuscitation to both lay responders and healthcare professionals. A former volunteer firefighter and SAR team member with rope-rescue experience, he brings practical outdoor context to every course.

When not on duty, he’s often hiking, skiing (both downhill and cross-country), or refining bushcraft skills. He also enjoys beekeeping and working with traditional crafts like carpentry and tile stove building.

Wilderness rescue students utilizing skills learned throughout courses.
