Jon Otto

Jon Otto is a mountaineer and professional guide from the US. He studied Chinese in Beijing University in 1990, and can speak Chinese fluently. He began his family and is now living in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. He has more than 20 years rock climbing, mountaineering and ice climbing experience, meanwhile, as a team member and equipment designing director of KAILAS. In 2012, Jon Otto and several coaches founded Lead Climbing School in Chengdu sponsored by KAILAS. He enjoys writing and photography; some of his articles were published in many journals and magazines. He also likes to use a camera to record his climbing trajectory in the past few years.
