My name is Ondrej and I’ve been working in healthcare for 15 years. First 4 years in the ER and since 2012 also in EMS as a full licensed paramedic.
I spend most of my free time outdoor and doing sports. In the winter skitouring, the rest of the year swimming, mountain biking (enduro and XC) and cross country running.
I teach 8th year first aid training under the Life Support brand (untrained public and also healthcare professionals) . One of the reasons for becoming a WMA instructor is the combination of two things I enjoy. Namely, my passion for the outdoors and passing on first aid experience and good practice. And also I am already at an age where I realize (also thanks to bitter experience) how important it is to handle even in places without EMS, without my workbag and all other stuff.
