Sayam’s passion for the outdoor world started during his time at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, where he pursued the Adventure Guide Diploma. Since then, he has worked as a raft guide on rivers across the province. During the winter months, Sayam spends his time working at Sun Peaks resort as a ski patroller and for the ambulance service as an Emergency Medical Responder, while finishing up his last three months of paramedic school. Additionally, Sayam is committed to introducing others to the medical and rescue world. He achieves this by teaching swift water rescue and wilderness medicine, teaching invaluable skills to fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
