Sophie Karovitch

Sophie Karovitch has always loved the outdoors. Her experience has come mostly from canoe tripping across Canada, originally as a camper at a canoe tripping camp in Ontario and then as a guide in more recent years. Most recently, she guided a group of youth across the North West Territories on a 2-month expedition. She is passionate about building community and appreciating the ability to disconnect from the “real world” on these trips. Sophie spends her winters in Alberta as a ski patroller where she is discovering the world of avalanche rescue. Sophie graduated from McGill with a BSc in Math and Physiology and is excited to pursue a career that aligns with all of her interests!
