Course Spotlights
This is our full in-person 7-Day course format. There are no pre-requisites or pre-course work. Students will have access to the online textbook in advance and will be sent a hardcopy of the textbook upon request. Lodging is available at the course site in heated yurts or camp on site with access to showers and kitchen. Our property is on a private ranch that borders National Forest, but is only ten minutes from town. Bus service from Denver and available shuttle to the course site.

Wilderness First Responder
Wilderness First Responder provides essential training in wilderness medicine, leadership, and critical thinking for professionals and leaders working and traveling in outdoor, low-resource, and remote environments. The WFR curriculum is both comprehensive and practical.
Kick Off Summer in the Eastern Sierra

Course Instructor: Jon Tierney from Acadia Mountain Guides, a WMAI Licensed Training Center. Jon is Flight Paramedic/RN, IFMGA Mountain Guide with over 35 years of real experience as a guide and emergency medical/rescue provider.
