Meals and lodging are not included in your course tuition. A range of accommodations are available at AMC’s Harriman Outdoor Center during your program, and meals are also available for purchase. Full Course DescriptionLodging is available at the course site in heated yurts or camp on site with access to showers and kitchen. Our property is on a private ranch that borders National Forest, but is only ten minutes from town. Bus service from Denver and available shuttle to the course site.

Summer brings long days and big objectives in the mountains surrounding Heber City. Training here means exposure to altitude, heat, and remote terrain that mirrors real summer travel in the Uintas and central Wasatch. The setting supports extended scenarios and realistic evacuation considerations without sacrificing accessibility.
