Summer brings long days and big objectives in the mountains surrounding Heber City. Training here means exposure to altitude, heat, and remote terrain that mirrors real summer travel in the Uintas and central Wasatch. Full Course DescriptionLearn basic first aid skills needed for wilderness adventures. The course is taught by professional instructors with significant patient care and backcountry experience at Whitewater Centers Grayson Campus just south of Grayson highland State Park. Camping and Lodging available
Full Course DescriptionThis is our full in-person 7-Day course format. There are no pre-requisites or pre-course work. Students will have access to the online textbook in advance and will be sent a hardcopy of the textbook upon request. Lodging is available at the course site in heated yurts or camp on site with access to showers and kitchen. Our property is on a private ranch that borders National Forest, but is only ten minutes from town. Bus service from Denver and available shuttle to the course site.
