Full Course DescriptionSkamokawa is 90 minutes from Portland and about three hours from Seattle. Classroom is in the local Grange Hall with rainforest and river right outside the door.
Kitchen available in classroom for students to use, camping available on site for $15/night. Other lodging and camping available nearby.
This course is taught in English. The course site, Ciel et Bois, is 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa in Cantley, QC. The beautiful property is surrounded by hundreds of acres of backcountry where you can hike, run, bike, cross-country ski and connect with nature.
Full Course DescriptionIdyllwild: a classic mountain town with world-class climbing and bouldering…phenomenal mountain biking…stellar hiking…with lots of foodie options (and its own brewpub)- all within walking distance of your course. And: Joshua Tree National Park is only 75 minutes away! Small class sizes (usually max of 12) to enhance healthy and quality training, with flexible, reasonable lodging or camping options. Join LL Bean Outdoor Discovery Programs and Healing All Wounds for a 5 day WFR course! This is a fast-paced, intensive learning experience…. This WFR is intended for self-directed learners who would benefit from at least 30 hours of pre-course online work and 5 days of hands-on training. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including all of the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments. Be prepared to be outdoors putting your knowledge and skills to work.
